Introduction to Graphic Design
This course and will cover the fundamental basics of graphic design including but not limited to color and shape theory, typography, and practical uses of graphic design. This will be a project-based course, and students will have many opportunities to practice what they learn and receive feedback on how to improve their designs.

Introduction to Digital Art
This course covers the fudamentals of digital art, focusing on color theory, perspective, light theory, texture, and more. Students will have the opportunity to practice techniques individually, and create cohesive pieces, where they apply their newly learnt skills and recieve instructor feedback.

Graphic Design Instructor: Deeya Jain
Deeya has been working for a year as a marketing and graphic design intern at a small skin care company and is familiar with multiple platforms including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and more. Deeya is also the head of graphic desgin at EIU.

Digital Art Instructor: Adyesha Singdeo
Adyesha Singhdeo has been doing digital art for many years. She has won many awards for her artwork such as the Rotary London Art Contest and the Saskatchewan Provincial Competition. She is familiar with multiple mediums such as Adobe Sketch, Infinite Painter, and Autodesk Sketchbook as well as traditional mediums. She enjoys learning about technology and is passionate about intertwining the worlds of art and technology together. She strongly believes that the best tool an artist can possess is a vivid imagination and is excited to spread her love for digital art to others.
