Congressional Debate Tournament for Middle and Elementary Schoolers

At E.I.U we do more than just teach coursework, we encourage our students to use their skills to make a difference in the community.

The compete for charity tournament is a great opportunity to get an introduction to competitive debate tournaments in a beginner-friendly setting, and will allow participants to improve their critical thinking + public speaking skills. Instructional sessions will also be held on 8/22 - 8/23 and 8/29 - 8/30 ( 4:00 - 5:00 pm PST) for those who may not have previous experience with Congressional Debate.

Tournament Entry: $15, $25, or more Proceeds from the tournament will directly be donated to "The Second Harvest of Silicon Valley", a non-profit organization dedicated to providing meals to those who can't afford them.
