Reina Pradhan, Founder/President
Reina is a junior at Lynbrook High School and founded EIU over the summer as a way to connect high schoolers to middle and elementary schoolers through education. In school her interests lie primarily in science and math, she's also passionate about using computer science to create projects that have a positive impact on society and hopes to continue to do so in college, and as a career. She also enjoys the world of competitive debate, and frequently competes at and places well in local and national level tournaments. Through EIU, she has been able to spread her passions through teaching, planning, and developing courses, and is excited to see more students form meaningful connections, and gain valuable knowledge through EIU!

Deeya Jain, Head of Graphic Design
Deeya is a junior at Lynbrook High School and the graphic design head and marketing co-head of E.I.U. Deeya is a marketing and graphic design intern at a small skin care company and is familiar with multiple platforms including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, and more. In her free time, she likes to try new recipes, watch kdramas, and spend time with her friends!
Maggie Lau, Head of Outreach
Maggie Lau is a high school student at Herricks High School. She devotes her time to create change in society by helping build a more sustainable world. She is passionate about UN Developmental Goals and loves to advocate for social issues. As an outgoing, amiable individual, she works hard to achieve her goals by committing to related activities. When she is not managing community projects or reaching out to other organizations, she is playing sports, watching videos, and reading historical books.
Shiho Amster, Head of Social Media
Shiho Amster is a young teenager who loves to challenge herself to come up with creative new ideas. She is skilled at managing her time and organizing her work effectively. From a significantly young age, Shiho has always
expressed an irresistible passion for learning about discoveries and advancements in
science and technology. Her dream one day
is to be able to share and discuss her crazy
ideas with the world and see some of them
being put into action.
Aarushi Mehrotra, Head of Education
Aarushi Mehrotra is currently a junior in Lynbrook. Her academic interests are split between biomedicine and data science, and some of her non-academic interests include cross-country and orchestra. In her free time, she loves going on food runs with her friends, watching dramas, and cooking new dishes.
